Nissan ECU Reprogramming Software (NERS) is Nissan and Infiniti’s J2534-1 compliant reprogramming and VIN writing software. This software supports reprogrammable ECUs from 1999 to current model year vehicles, and 2005 MY and later VIN writing into ECMs, when using a Nissan validated pass-through device. Click the Reprogramming Tab for addition information on reprogramming. This software only provided ECU reprogramming and VIN writing capability. Vehicle reprogramming requires the use of the following:

• Nissan validated J2534-1 device
• Nissan ECU Reprogramming Software (NERs)
• Personal computer running Windows XP (SP2 or later)
• NERS does not support Windows 7 at this time
• Applicable reprogram file

Nissan tested and validated the below listed devices. Nissan does not recommend the use of any other J2534-1 device or firmware that is not listed here.

This software utilizes a new style CSV. The CSV provided with previous downloads should be discarded. The CSV you receive with a new download supports all legacy vehicles and will operate with previously purchased ***.dat files. The CSV you receive with new downloads will also operate with the previous J2534-1 software. Refer to the operators manual for the location to place the CSV and ***.dat files when using the new software.

Please Note that J2534-1 supports reprogramming on 1999 MY and later vehicles.

How To Find J2534-1 and ECU or TCM data

In order for you to locate the proper ECU or TCM file, you will need to look up the applicable Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) for your vehicle. Instruction in the TSB will pinpoint and advise you of the newest ECU or TCM for your vehicle.

Download Purchased ECU or TCMs

Once you have purchased ECU or TCM data files and your order is completed, your ECU or TCM files can be downloaded. Please verify that you are logged in to your account before proceeding.

Purchase of ECU or TCM Data enables file download access for a period of 24 hours, after which time the file will no longer appear in your list of purchased ECU or TCMs. Be sure to download the ECU or TCM file immediately following your purchase.
